 Eligibility: Entries are open to any amateur Father and Son team (sons who are 19 or older as of August 15, 2017) who both have an active MGA/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate MGA member course/club not exceeding 12.0 (as determined by the July 15, 2017 Handicap Revision) or have completed their handicap certification. Entries will be on a first come, first served basis.
 Entry Procedures: Entries and fully paid entry fees must be received through the MGA Online Entry process by 5:00 pm EST on the published entry deadline.
 Format: Competition will be 18 Holes at Foursomes Stroke Play (selected drive-alternate shot).
 Field: The field is limited to 90 teams.

2017 Exemptions (Upon receipt of the online registration and fee, the players in the following categories are exempt):
 Show Qualifying Exemption Listing
 Schedule: Round 1 - August 15 (18 Holes)
Any tie for first place will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off.

 Transportation: 
Cart fee is included in entry fee. Pull carts (at the host club’s discretion) and caddies are permitted.
 Starting Times: Championship Proper Starting Times & Player Information will be emailed to all competitors shortly after the close of entries.
 Prizes: The Lester and Peter Oppenheim Trophy and gold medals will be presented to the winners. Merchandise certificates will be awarded and are only redeemable at the host site.

 Restrictions: Fathers are permitted to compete in the Junior & Senior Divisions with a different son.
 Addt'l Info: Courtesy practice privileges are at the discretion of the host club.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Competitors, who have submitted an entry for an MGA event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the MGA office in writing (e-mail is acceptable and encouraged) or by phone. Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if the MGA is notified in writing or by phone seven days prior to each event (Championship, or Qualifier). Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven days prior to each event.
